Team Profiles
Southeast Football League All Stars
The
Southeast Football League (SEFL) is Minor League Development Football
at it's very best - executed in a Major League way! The SEFL plays
a spring schedule from February to May and is open to teams in Florida,
Georgia and Alabama. Headquartered in Miami, the SEFL was founded
by Jesse Wiggins, President of the Knights of Miami Sports Association.
In 2006, the Southeast Football League has expanded to 12 teams,
with a strong possibility of a 14th team for the upcoming 2007 season.
The SEFL is making a strong move to set themselves aside from the
other Leagues here in Florida.
“We're constantly looking and exploring for
ways to get better", says League President, Mr. Jesse Wiggins,
and owner of the Knights of Miami.
“I would say that the SEFL is becoming a force
in Florida. With the growth of 13 teams, it is now one of the largest
leagues in the State. I feel we're on the verge of something special",
says Mr. Anthony Smith, Vice President of the League, and owner
of the OC Falcons. "This offseason has been a very busy one
for us. We have had a number of teams from the other leagues contacting
us about being apart of what we're doing, and we are still feeling
some of them out, but we're in no hurry.”
